Christmas is only a couple of days away now and the kids are very excited. Luckily we started buying gifts earlier this year or we would not have been able to do much for the kids with Ted's job downsizing like it did. They all still believe in Santa and his magic and I would hate to have it end for a reason like that! We are having his side of the family over on Christmas day - this finally seems to be the year that the grandparents give up all the holidays and pass it on to the next generation. The kids are excited about this too - I like hosting parties and entertaining people too.

Everyone made cookies for their teachers and are helping wrap up gifts. Ted is studying for is CDL temp license and we are hoping that the dislocated worker funding comes through. The school he is going to attend is a big help getting through the process. He needed three endorsements and they sent out the applications and he got a phone call the next morning! Truckers must really be needed!!!! I have also been sending out resumes but after taking time off to raise the kids, people are just not jumping up and down to get you in the door.

A dear set of friends of mine are getting married in Jamaica next week (28th) and I couldn't be happier for them - what a great place to get hitched (especially this time of year). As the holiday cards come in, it seems everyone else is on a good path too which makes me feel so proud of everyones success and happiness.
